Love Of A Lonely Man.

Spread the love

Blog Post About This Poem

The rage of the winter calmed,
And the gathered storm whithered
Dreams of life from far away sang,
As gloom from mind into darkness of night, blended.

How soon, how soon will you reach my mind,
Oh’ the empty throne in soul filled
With the sorrows of my yesteryears,
How soon will you invade the castles of my Romantic life?

Rivers waited for the melting frost,
Leafless branches ready to sprout,
Legs prepared to embark on paths unpaved,
That missing smile of acceptance may leave me astray.

Realities of life from all around screamed,
The world all in it, never ever listened,
Oh’, dear, the dearest of them all don’t be lost,
In the wilderness of this illusion of time and space.

Every man deserves a chance to be loved,
Even the vultures closed their eyes to pain-filled life,
Loveless galloped like hungry wild horses in the desert.
Invade and capture the love of a Lonely man.
