Oh’, hours fell after an unholy journey in our time,
Where in my mind patience built castles of pearls,
The beating of the heart like bells of wars restlessly rang,
Flames engulfed mind, as time into history unbound.
Unbalanced thoughts brought unbearable weight,
When uncared stood frustrations of neverending waiting
Like broken beads of rosary to idle time many fell,
Their graves, like leftover pebbles from a river, lay.
Their faces shattered into morning mist, their tales untold,
Seconds like atoms made molecules of minutes, unknown,
My time like a leaf floating and sat on branches of trees unknown,
Ah’, soul in a body and body led by idle paced time, revolted.
Emptiness stood in all its beauty when to seize the glory of love,
The void stretched in might of time and space though I ran,
All my running, just another act of my eternal waiting,
Oh’, soul’s screams, none heard, as deeper the pain went.
Reality unfolded as the illusion around dried dead and fell,
Tears left eyes and cheerful smiles adorned my face,
At times I soared on wings of passion of unknown might,
To make each moment of waiting for you a beacon of light.
